SEMIFINAL | SAT. NOV. 13

Garrett Allen had a goal and an assist in the first 11 minutes and Jimmy Mullin scored his tournament-leading fifth goal as the Americans kept their three-peat dreams alive with a semifinal win over the West.

 

CANADA EAST 4 – SWITZERLAND 2
SEMIFINAL | SAT. NOV. 13

Nick Huard scored twice and added an assist and Jordan Ruby made 39 saves as the Canadians advanced to the gold medal game for the first time since 2007 with a win over the previously-unbeaten Swiss.

 

SWEDEN 5 - RUSSIA 4
5TH PLACE | FRI. NOV. 12

Jesper Olofsson scored twice to pace the offence and Joakim Nordstrom netted the game-winning goal midway through the third as the Swedes held off a late offensive push from the Russians to claim fifth place.

 

SWEDEN 2 - CANADA WEST 3
QUARTER-FINAL | THURS. NOV. 11

Nolan Kaiser scored the game-winning goal on a Canadian power play early in the third period and Matthew Krahn made 31 saves as the westerners advanced to a semifinal date with the Americans on Saturday.

 

RUSSIA 3 - CANADA EAST 4
QUARTER-FINAL | THURS. NOV. 11

Matthew Peca and Evan Rodrigues scored 42 seconds apart to give the Canadian side a 4-0 second-period lead, and it held off a furious Russian rally to book its spot vs. Switzerland in Saturday’s semifinals.
